Dear Italians!
My name is Slavko and I am the state secretary in Croatian ministery of foreign affairs. I am here to open a new Croatian Consulate.
Unfortunately we do not have available ambassadors at the moment therefore we open only a consulate. This means that I am going to post the messages about Croatia and its government once a week or so. You are welcome to write comments, ideas or questions, and I'll answer them as soon as I'm here.
I hope we can build a useful relationship that both our nations can benefit from.

what is SISDE?

I just came from the "official" trip to Italy where I visited Ravena, Rimini, San Marino and Ferrara. I had a great time, I just love Italy.

HDS (Croatian Democratic Party) - rocker-ma, the only candidate, 97 votes; party holds 31% seats and has 316 members
HUS (Croatian United Party) - bbb_kambelovac, 85 / 104 votes, three more opponents; party holds 28% seats and has 345 members
SHN (Union of Croatian Nationalists) - branac 88, 56 / 131 votes, two more opponents; party has no representatives and has 70 members
HSP (Croatian Rightist Party) - mrgood, 54 / 83 votes, three more opponents; party holds 20% seats and has 169 members
HLD (Croatian Liberal Democrats) - andycro 32 / 41 votes, only one opponent; party holds 14% seats and has 89 members

I have a question for all you guys. I'm conducting a survey about the influence of political parties on voting in Congress. My question is do all the members of one party in Congress vote unanimously as party decides or do they vote independently?

i am not sure of this but i think that they vote indipendently... but usually this is the same as the party decides, since all of them have common ideas
